Baby Lucy
My sister, Jenn had her baby this week, 2 1/2 weeks early!! Lucy Meyerson joined the world on Tuesday weighing in at 5 pounds 11 ounces, 18 inches long, strawberry blonde hair.
Jenn faired well. Baby was early, she was small, and she came naturally, so all in all. Not a bad day!
Lexi is thrilled and is quite the pro when is comes to babies. They have had a lot of foster babies come through their home. We are sooooo happy for them.

Wisdom of a 4 Year Old
On Sunday I was helping the Primary kids fill out a Mother's Day questionnaire about their mothers. What color is your mommy's hair? How old is your mommy? What makes your mommy happy?
So I was helping Tristan Rogers fill out his paper. He is 4 years old and my buddy! (His mother is an AMAZINGLY strong person.) I asked him, "What does your mommy love to do?" He said, "She loves to go to work and school." I then asked him, "What makes your mommy happy?" He responded like a wise old women . . . "Being Done". Amen!!!
Being Done is what makes me happy too. Being done with laundry, being done with my list, being done with hall duty, being done with the dishes, being done with exercise, being done with the day. Being done makes me happy!

Happy Easter!
It was a nice Easter weekend. It was fun to watch the kids enjoy the "fun" aspect of it. I also enjoyed teaching them about the true reason and celebration of the holiday, the resurrection of our Savior, Jesus Christ. I'm grateful for family and friends to celebrate with. Here are a few pics from the weekend.

Yes, Jack looks JUST like Jeff and Molly looks JUST like Hannah. The big kids have little "mini me"s.

Taken from a far so you can't see my triple chins. Ugh!

At the Wolfe's house for Linda's annual Easter egg hunt and this year it was a fishing game for the prizes. The grandkids loved it!

Molly didn't care how many eggs she collected, she just wanted what was inside them.

At the city Easter egg hunt, Jack loved the fire truck the best!

The slide came in a close second with both Jack and Molly.

Our good buddies the Junemans--Alex, Zach, & Sophia. We were all excited to see them. Jeff suddenly had a desire to participate. Funny how a friend can make it "okay" to do something you didn't want to do moments before.

From One Chic to Another . . .
Thanks to my sister for referring me to this adorable chick on Etsy and Corrin for starting a fire under me. Corrin, Hannah and I made 20 adorable little chicks. It felt so good to create again. I use to do this kind of project a lot, but have put this hobby and many other hobbies on the back burner with the kids. It was fun to do it with a very creative friend and to get Hannah involved and watch her interest bloom. It was a great time! So to all my girlfriends, sisters, mom and all the other chics in my life . . . thanks for being there. I wish I could of made enough for all of you.

Hannah is Around Too!
She is the resident photographer. She took many of the pictures I posted. I noticed tonight by looking for pictures of her that I need to take more of her.

This is her toe she smashed with the high chair tray while trying to get Molly into her chair for breakfast.

Jack loves being the photographer as well. Pretty good for 2.

Hannah loves to organize and play with her siblings. She combined them here with putting all things soft in Jacks' room into Jack's crib, including Jack. He loved it!

This is another Hannah pic. She tried so hard to get the babies attention. She did all of Trista and Aunt Jessy's tricks. Jumping, hitting her head with a toy, peekaboo with the camera, you name it she tried. They just weren't in the mood.
Hannah is here and I'm so grateful she is. She reads me so well. When I need a break, she takes the babies downstairs for "play time". When the kitchen is a disaster, she'll clean it up. When a spill is made, she vacuums or wipes it up. When a drawer/cupboard/closet (except her own) needs organization, she'll organize it. She saves me regularly. She is GREAT to have around. Oh, she' here!!
