We went down to Cannon Beach for our family vacation this year. We just didn't have the energy to travel a long distance with the little ones. It was a great time. We relaxed, played games, watched movies, played on the beach for hours, ate like kings, explored the local sites, and had a lot of fun!!! Jeff was looking at the pictures today and said, "Ahhh, I want to go back. That was the best!" Who needs Disneyland, we have Cannon Beach and it was only an hour away.

Oh wow! How fun is that? Looks like everyone had a blast! My fav pic is the one of poor Jack falling off the log while Hannah laughs herself silly!
That is soooo fun. We did the same thing (but not as long. It really was so much fun. Much easier than traveling so far. I do love an occasional trip to Hawaii though - Ha Ha!
